Boulder Dog Parks

Boulder County offers Voice and Sight Tags for our canine companions.  In addition to the many dog parks located within Boulder County, there are many trails and outdoor recreational areas where dogs that are in compliance with Boulder’s Voice and Sight Tag Program may happily romp along by your side without a leash!

As of December 31^st, 2014, the green tags previously offered are no longer valid.  In order to obtain one of the new blue Voice and Sight tags, you must attend a one hour class, present an up to date rabies vaccination certificate, and pay a fee for each tag.  Learn more about Boulder’s Voice and Sight Program by clicking here.

East Boulder Dog Park: 5660 Sioux Drive, Boulder, CO

Small and Large Dog Areas: YES

Large Dog Park Size: Roughly 1.5 acres

Small Dog Park Size: Roughly .45 acres

Howard Heuston Dog Park: 34^th and Iris, Boulder, CO

Fenced: NO

Small and Large Dog Areas: NO – MIXED

Voice & Sight Area is Approximately 1.25 acres (see below, per Boulder County)

Water Availability: Not specified – Best to bring your own.

Voice and Sight Control area is designated by yellow poles.

The remainder of the park is leash law.
